CVD is an umbrella term for a range of conditions that affect your heart including high blood pressure/hypertension, heart attacks, higher LDL (or bad) cholesterol, heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmia (irregular heart rhythm), arterial blockage, strokes, and heart valve issues.
